Pecan Bars

This dessert comes from my friend Julie. They are sinfully delicious!! Make them for company, or to take to a party, otherwise you'll eat the whole pan yourself!

Pecan Bars
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg Heath toffee bits
1 cup pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar and butter together. Press in a 9x13" cake pan. Bake 15 minutes. While the crust is baking, mix condensed milk, egg, salt, vanilla, toffee bits, and pecans together. Remove crust from the oven. Pour filling into crust and bake 20 minutes more. Let cool completely to allow the filling to set up, and cut into squares.

This is the crust just after mixing:

Here is the crust pressed into the pan:

Finished Pecan Bars...you can see how fast they go!
