Quick Taco Bake

This recipe came from Campbell's Soup...with my own changes...Its quick and easy, and a 1 dish meal if you use a cast iron pan, or one that can go from the stovetop to the oven...Using corn tortillas adds less salt to the dish...adjust to your tastes.

Quick Taco Bake
1 lb ground beef
1 can Campbell's tomato soup
1 cup salsa...any kind you like
1/2 cup milk
2 large handfuls of corn tortilla chips, OR 8 corn tortillas cut into 1" pieces
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Brown hamburger in a pan...(don't add salt), stir to seperate meat. Pour off fat. Add soup, salsa, milk, chips, and 1/2 of the cheese. (IF your skillet cannot go into the oven, spoon the mixture into a pie pan, or other shallow dish.) Bake at 400degrees for 30 minutes, or until hot. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Serves 4
