Lemon and Mint Sachets

Pick a large bouquet of mint and dry enough to yield 2 cups dried leaves. Use only the leaves. Grind or mince the peels of about 4 lemons. Place on a cookie sheet and dry in the oven at 250 degrees. Remove from oven and add several drops of lemon essential oil. Put in a jar and let stand for several days to let the fragrances marry. Make satin bags about 3 inches square, leaving one side open. Fill bags loosely and hand stitch opening closed. Decorate with lace and ribbon. Use in closets and drawers for a fresh clean scent. When the fragrance fades, add a couple of drops of lemon essential oil to the sachet. Mint keeps bugs out of things too...especially ants.
