Face Wash and Toner
I've come up with this face wash. I like the simplicity...and I don't have to run to the fridge for avacado, yogurt, or other perishables that some people prefer. Its easy, and the ingredients are ready in the bathroom when I need them. I like to use the old fashioned style pantry jars. I get mine at Walmart.
Face Wash
Prepare:
peppermint castile soap
1 hand pump soap dispenser
organic oats, coarsely ground
1 wide mouth jar with lid
1 teaspoon
ribbon or twine
witch hazel
1 jar with small opening and lid
cotton balls
1 pretty jar or dish
In a blender or food processor, coarsely grind the oats and place in the jar with a lid. Tie the tablespoon to the end of the ribbon and tie the other end of the ribbon around the jar. Fill the soap dispenser with castile soap. Place the witch hazel in a pretty, sanitized jar with a small opening. Place cotton balls in a pretty jar or dish.
To Use:
Wet a washcloth add a tiny drop of peppermint castile soap. Rub the washcloth together to distribute the soap. Add 1 tsp oats to the washcloth and gently scrub face. Don't get soap in the eyes. Rinse well with water. Pat dry and apply witch hazel with a cotton ball. It works wonders, and is gentle. I finish with this face cream.
