I omitted the peas from the traditional salad recipe to reduce carbs.
3 large Celery Stalks
1 cup Red Bell Peppers
4 Green Onions
1 cup Real Bacon Bits by Hormel, or 1 lb bacon, cooked & crumbled
3 Hard Boiled Eggs
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1. Chop all the vegetables, and cook the bacon.
2. Mix the Mayo, garlic powder, vinegar, and pepper together.
3. Layer the veggies in a clear glass bowl, with lettuce on the bottom, then bell pepper,celery, onion, boiled eggs, and most of the bacon. 4. Spread all the dressing on the top. Add cheese, and sprinkle with remaining bacon.
5. Refrigerate overnight, tightly covered. Serves 83 net carbs per serving
