Nettie Beans

I can't believe I've just now got around to posting this! This is our favorite green bean dish ever. We have it for all our holidays.

Nettie Beans

1 can french cut green beans
2-3 slices bacon
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Drain the liquid from the beans. Place the bacon in a skillet and cook until crisp. Remove the bacon to drain on paper towels. Remove excess bacon grease from the pan...leaving about 1 Tbsp. Add the green beans and garlic to the hot bacon grease. Cook, stirring about 1 minute. Crumble the cooked bacon over the green beans. Serve hot. Serves 4.
